Job Summary
Are you driven to improve healthcare through smart use of technology? Do you enjoy turning complex health IT systems into practical solutions that enhance patient care and streamline provider workflows? The Tennessee Primary Care Association (TPCA) is seeking a Clinical Informatics Manager to help community health centers across the state transform how they deliver care.
This role is ideal for someone who pairs technical fluency with relationship-building skills. You’ll be a trusted advisor to health centers, guiding them through EHR optimization, advancing interoperability, and enhancing data-driven decision-making. You’ll work at the intersection of public health, technology, and innovation – helping health centers use data and systems to improve outcomes, increase access, and reduce provider burden.
Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver tailored support to health centers on EHR optimization, health IT strategy, and workflow improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with health center staff, HIT vendors, and internal TPCA teams
- Guide the evaluation, selection, and implementation of health IT systems and tools
- Translate clinical needs into effective technical solutions that align with operational goals
- Promote data integrity, privacy, and cybersecurity through training and best practices
- Support and enhance telehealth services, including program coordination and problem-solving

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in information systems or a related field
- At least 4 years of healthcare experience, including hands-on work with EHRs and HIT
- Strong knowledge of data standards, system integration, and regulatory compliance
- The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and clinical teams
- A passion for supporting community health and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset

Actual salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The posted salary range reflects a variety of experience levels beyond the minimum requirement.
