Job Summary

Full Time Exempt Position, Based in Nashville. Reports to the Development Director.

TIRRC is seeking an enthusiastic Development Manager to support the overall strategic efforts of the development team and its daily operations, including fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, donor stewardship, and CRM/database support. This is an excellent position for someone who is passionate about grassroots organizing for immigrant and refugee rights and has a desire to increase community support for TIRRC and its affiliated organization, TIRRC Votes.

Job Responsibilities

Support timely and donor-centric stewardship of TIRRC and affiliated organization supporters:

  • Enter and maintain records, communications, and documentation in CRM and shared files;
  • Conduct data audits and implement new tools to enhance the sophistication of our CRM;
  • Coordinate timely and personalized donor stewardship calls, thank you cards, and/or emails for donors;
  • Support stewardship events and highly personalized donor stewardship touches;
  • Supervise all donor-related data and generate donor reports from organizational CRMs as needed;
  • Supervise the Development Coordinator

Execute Development strategies and serve as the Project Manager:

  • Co-manage fundraising events for TIRRC and affiliated organization;
  • Support and schedule Development Team Activities and maintain the Development calendar;
  • Move forward development strategies with the Development Director. Ensure aligned messaging and shared funder strategy across the team;
  • Establishes effective working relationships with members of the staff, board members and other volunteers to advance the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual prospects and donors for the Development Director and Executive Director;
  • Ensure timely recognition, communication, and fulfillment of all partnership deliverables;
  • Prepare invoices and track sponsorship payments with the Operations and Finance teams;
  • Support volunteer recruitment and engagement with the Strategic Events Lead;
  • Contributes to a team-based culture focused on respect, communication, inclusivity, and collaboration.

Coordinate community-led fundraising strategies and successful giving campaigns:

  • Manage annual giving days campaigns, such as Giving Tuesday;
  • Manage and grow monthly donors through compelling fundraising proposals and strategy;
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate sponsors across local, state, and national levels;
  • Support donation solicitation with TIRRC and affiliated organization;
  • Work with the Communications team and the Development Director to create social media posts, marketing materials (printed and digital), and stewardship materials for TIRRC and affiliated organization donors;
  • Implement digital fundraising strategies, website, and social media updates in coordination with the Communications team and the Development Director.

Qualifications

  • Belief in TIRRC’s mission and commitment to social justice;
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse communities;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and relational-minded individual;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in development and fundraising;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends;
  • Fluency in English required and another language preferred;
  • Must have reliable transportation.
