Are you passionate about leading others in worship and creating transformative, Christ-centered experiences? We’re looking for a Spirit-led Part-Time Worship Leader to help guide our community through powerful worship moments during retreats and weekly gatherings.

Mercy Multiplied exists to provide opportunities for all to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Mercy’s Residential counseling Program is voluntary, biblically-based, and helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free-of-charge. The Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling is Mercy’s free-of-charge Outpatient counseling Program for men and women aged 13 and older. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources.

Job Responsibilities

In the Keys to Freedom Retreat Worship Leader position, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

 

Retreat Week Responsibilities (February – November):

  • Lead daily worship times with keyboard (preferred) or guitar for retreat participants with excellence and spiritual sensitivity
  • Ensure technical aspects of worship (sound, slides, instruments) are coordinated smoothly

Non-Retreat Week Responsibilities (February – November):

  • Work with Retreat Director to update worship songs as needed. Creates/updates lyric slides to presentation software as needed.
  • Collaborate with the retreat director to plan and execute Spirit-led worship sets to align worship themes with the retreat’s vision, messages, and schedule
  • Set up Retreat Worship & Sessions for upcoming retreats in Pro Presenter
  • Update Prayer Room and You Tube Worship Sets
  • Lead staff devotions on alternating basis.
  • Participatie in team spiritual development, team building activities, etc.

 

Schedule: This position has a variable schedule, depending on the needs of the ministry and retreat calendar.

 

  • Retreat Weeks (Approximately 15/year): 18–28 hours/week
  • Non-Retreat Weeks: 9–12 hours/week
  • Availability Required: Evenings and weekends
  • Schedule Notice: Weekly schedules are communicated in advance based on retreat planning and ministry needs.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Must be a high school graduate or pass a general education development test (GED). Experience in worship arts and/or pastoral leadership preferred.

Skills: Demonstrated excellence and passion as a worship leader. Must possess strong musical ability, vocal skills, and proficiency in playing piano (preferred) and/or guitar, with the ability to lead while playing. A working knowledge of Pro Presenter is preferred. Professional appearance, strong communications, and organizational skills are required for this position. Must be a team player with a servant heart and flexible attitude. Must have a thorough understanding of, alignment with, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, including Mercy’s freedom principles, along with demonstrated Christian work ethics.

Eligibility: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
