POSITION: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Success Coordinator to lead in our out-of-school literacy and life skills program for refugee and immigrant youth. This position reports to the Director of Youth Success. If you want to make a positive difference for newcomer youth, this position is for YOU! 

Job Responsibilities

Supervise 5-12th grade students in our out-of-school time literacy/life skills program at Lead Southeast Middle & High School

Coordinate and supervise team members (volunteers and staff) in delivering impactful programming and provide meaningful feedback and support

Ensure a safe, nurturing environment where youth can thrive

Track data and work toward meeting grant outcomes

Plan and facilitate academic and enrichment activities

Conduct home visits and follow up with families on student progress

Strengthen partnerships with funding partners and school staff

Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Strong commitment to the success and well-being of refugee and immigrant families

Strong commitment to the physical and emotional safety of each child

Ability to take initiative and work independently

Excellent capacity to supervise others

Strong organizational skills

Willingness to be trained on the agency’s protocol for interacting with children who have experienced trauma

Clean driving record and successful background check
