About CEO Conversations:

CNM’s CEO Conversations series is designed to provide learning and networking opportunities for Nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs. With a mix of educational and social gatherings, CEO Conversation events allow space for Executives to share best practices while strengthening the whole nonprofit community.

Event Description:

Imposter syndrome is so common - about 70% of people experience these impostor feelings at some point in their lives (re: International Journal of Behavioral Science). Imposter syndrome often strikes high achievers, who doubt their accomplishments and have a persistent fear of being exposed as frauds unworthy of their title. Feeling like a fraud is especially rampant for those who differ from their peers in any way, such as race, gender, sexual orientation, and socio-economic background.

Whether you’re a senior leader, new to an executive role, or recently joined a different organization, this CEO Conversation is for you! Our featured speaker, Chandra Jarrett (Executive Leadership and DEI Coach at Joy Consulting Group), will share some strategies to overcome impostor syndrome and, ultimately, advance your career and mission!

About the Facilitator:

With over 15 years as an engineer in Corporate America and 20+ years as a consultant and staff in the nonprofit sector, Chandra is passionate about educating, equipping, and empowering leaders. Using assessments, tools, and technology, Chandra unlocks the untapped potential of leaders and maximizes team performance to achieve organizational success!

Structure:

8:00am - 8:15am: Introductions
8:15am - 9:15am: Program/Discussion
