In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the science of how your leadership style is shaped, perceived, and activated in nonprofit environments. Grounded in organizational psychology and personality research, this session unpacks the Big Five traits, Trait Activation Theory, and Free Trait Behavior — helping you understand when your strengths shine and when they might backfire.
Learning Objectives
1. Learn what actually drives team dynamics — and how to lead with more clarity, empathy, and consistency. 2. Identify their personality traits using a structured framework (Big Five or Principles) and explore how those traits are activated in different leadership contexts. 3. Recognize the impact of Free Trait Behavior, and how leaders can flex their natural tendencies for the good of the team — without burning out. 4. Assess alignment between their leadership style and their team's needs through a customized needs assessment. 5. Create a personalized Leadership Action Plan that bridges insight and action using evidence-based strategies.
