The Emerging Executives Institute is designed in partnership with Lipscomb University to equip rising nonprofit professionals with the essential skills, tools, and confidence to lead mission-driven organizations into the future. Built around the core competencies of leadership, strategy, and resilience, this six- month program offers a holistic curriculum that blends practical knowledge with personal growth. Participants will explore key areas such as executive presence, communication and influence, team management, financial stewardship, technology, and fundraising responsibility. By engaging with topics like innovation, adaptability, and succession planning, participants will leave with the ability to address today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities.Graduates will emerge with a well-rounded understanding of leadership, ready to inspire teams, advance missions and strengthen the nonprofit sector. This program also will allow for a mentorship opportunity upon completion.
This program is for:
- Mid-career professionals seeking growth in their career areas particularly aspiring to a C-suite position
- Managers, coordinators, and directors preparing for executive-level positions
- Nonprofit organizations looking to invest in the growth of their emerging talent

If your application is accepted, the fees for the program are below.
- Member fee: $895
- Nonmember fee: $1195
Upon completion of this program, should you wish to pursue additional education in leadership and public service, CNEMT member organizations and their employees are eligible for a 50% scholarship toward a Master’s in Public Administration or Conflict Resolution at the Lipscomb College of Leadership and Public Service.
