Job Summary

Under the direction and guidance of the Program Manager, the Children’s Program Coordinator will plan, prepare, and execute two weekly components of our Children’s Programming: Bible story time and craft/play time, at our Franklin Campus (1350 W Main St, Franklin). The Childcare Coordinator will consistently provide a high level of excellence and care in Children’s Programming for children ages infant – 5th grade. Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver children’s programming that reflects Begin Anew’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Ensure that children are cared for in a safe and welcoming environment
  • Ensure parents complete the Children’s Intake form
  • Assign activities to other volunteers when/if available
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • A minimum of 5 hours and no more than 10 hours per week for part-time colleagues. Days and times vary by site

Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a church or Christian environment
  • Willingness to work with different cultures and faith beliefs
  • Pleasant and calm demeanor in working with children, staff members, volunteers, and others
  • Willingness to sign Begin Anew’s Statement of Faith
