Job Summary

The Nashville Bar Association (NBA) is a professional organization serving the legal community of Nashville, Tennessee. With over 2,450 members, the NBA is the largest metropolitan bar association in Tennessee. The NBA’s mission is to is to advance the legal profession and promote justice by connecting, serving and educating our members and the public.

The NBA presents approximately 100 live on-site and online CLE programs per year. Most live programs are recorded and digitized for posting on our on-demand CLE platform for 24/7 viewing. The CLE coordinator will advance the NBA’s CLE mission to support and enhance attorney practice and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

The NBA is seeking an experienced individual for a full-time position as CLE Coordinator. Responsibilities include working with the NBA CLE committee, sections, committees, and other organizations in the development of recurrent and new CLE programming, attending and managing CLE programs, developing the annual CLE calendar, and administering CLE program marketing and production. This includes ensuring accreditation with the CLE Commission, awarding attendee CLE credit, managing the distance learning catalog in the learning management system, providing personal transportation to off-site programs, and performing other tasks as needed by the NBA. Attending and providing support for other association events outside regular business hours is sometimes required. The position requires teamwork and coordination with NBA members and staff, outside vendors, CLE partners, and CLE regulators.

  • Computer and software knowledge that includes comfortability within database management, Zoom, and association management software
  • Ability to manage audio visual systems for in-person programs including a strong working knowledge of the zoom platform for executing and recording live CLE programs.
