Job Summary

Position Description: This position provides Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) in schools, churches, and community organizations. This position assists with curriculum development, outreach, and data tracking for partnerships; and provides SRAE program facilitation. Our goal is to prevent teenage pregnancies and STIs by building strong communities and cultivating safe and healthy relationships. This position is on the Relationship Education team as part of the Education Department.

Job Responsibilities

Program Presentation (85%):

  • Present Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programming as scheduled, ensuring trained facilitator is present at each program. Programming times vary; primary hours are between 7:30am-3:00pm
  • Ensure entry/exit survey and other required data is collected at each program
  • Abide by all programmatic and personnel policies set by Hope Clinic for Women

Program administration (15%):

  • Assist with program maintenance for school programs
  • Assist with other program content review and updates
  • Routine program tracking and preparation

Meetings:

  • Virtual Staff Check-Ins (Tuesday’s)
  • Weekly check in with supervisor
  • Relationship Education team meeting (when needed)
  • Quarterly staff retreats (typically Friday’s)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Teaching/group facilitation experience
  • 4-year degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Access to reliable transportation; active, unrestricted driver’s license; motor vehicle insurance
  • Experience working in a classroom setting is a plus
  • Experience working with adolescents is a plus

Benefits

This is a part-time position. There are no health, dental, vision options.

There is 3 PTO days a year for part-time team members.
