Job Summary

The Tennessee Turfgrass Association (TTA) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Membership & Events Coordinator to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of the association’s annual events and membership processes.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring strong member engagement and successful events across all regions of the association.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the full annual calendar of events, including regional meetings, golf tournaments and industry initiatives
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to ensure meetings are organized, well-attended and properly documented including applying for continuing education credits through various channels.
  • Oversee the annual dues billing (invoicing) process
  • Industry partnership and sponsorship development

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience coordinating events and logistics
  • Proficiency in financial tracking
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Experience with membership organizations or associations preferred
  • Must be able to travel to 10 – 12 meetings around the state.
