Job Summary
The Program and Community Engagement Manager will oversee all hunger relief operations, support the implementation of Empowerment Programs, and lead community engagement efforts. This role successfully engages community members, volunteers, and partner organizations to enhance participant experience and meet evolving program needs.

- On-site required, Travel (0 – 25%)

- $46,500 to $50,000
Job Responsibilities
Food Pantry Operations:
- Manage all Inspiritus Food Pantry operations and facility maintenance.
- Implement new strategies for food procurement and distribution.
- Conduct data collection and tracking for pantry operations, volunteers, and donations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB). Train staff and volunteers on SHFB procedures.
- Submit weekly pantry orders and oversee SNAP benefit application processes.
- Coordinate SHFB shopping appointments and delivery schedules.
Volunteer Management:
- Serve as the primary administrator for Inspiritus’s volunteer management platforms (e.g., Hands On Nashville), ensuring accuracy of volunteer postings.
- Manage all volunteer communication, including recruitment, scheduling, and engagement.
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment and communication strategies.
- Lead volunteer groups during on-site service activities, ensuring groups are trained, supported, and engaged in meaningful service tasks.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders to increase awareness of Inspiritus programs and build collaborative relationships.
- Represent Inspiritus at outreach events, presentations, and community activities to promote empowerment services.
- Support the Youth Thrive Studios Manager as needed.
- Oversee and track in-kind donations, Walmart donations, and community food drives.
Other:
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support program goals and organizational needs.
Qualifications
- Associates or College Degree.
- 2 years of social service experience or program implementation preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
- Must have own transportation and driver’s license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

Employees frequently lift and or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
