Job Summary
Are you passionate about building strong school-community partnerships and supporting student success beyond the classroom? Metro Nashville Public Schools is seeking a Program Specialist – Community Achieves to support schools, families, and community partners in implementing the Community Achieves model and advancing districtwide community school standards.
This role plays a critical part in strengthening partnerships, aligning resources, and ensuring high-quality implementation that supports student achievement, family engagement, and community collaboration.
Job Summary
The Program Specialist supports the Family & Community Partnerships’ Community Achieves team, school-level teams, and community partners with the implementation and sustainability of the Community Achieves strategy and district community school standards.

Job Responsibilities
What You Will Do
-
Support schools, students, families, partners, and MNPS departments in the faithful implementation of the community school model

Collect and maintain data to assess the quality of programs and services

Partner with school leadership to plan and implement Community Achieves strategies aligned to district standards

Assist schools and communities in aligning resources to support strategic partnership and program goals
-
Develop and maintain materials that support Community Achieves branding and communications
-
Assist with planning and delivering professional development for stakeholders
-
Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, foundations, and universities
-
Facilitate collaboration between schools and community partners to elevate stakeholder voice and family engagement through advisory teams
Qualifications
Education Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Public Administration, Social Work, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field (required)
Experience Qualifications
-
4–6 years of related professional experience (required)
Skills and Abilities
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Excellent time management and organizational skills
-
Self-motivated with a high level of responsibility
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
