Job Summary

At the YMCA of Middle TN, we’re passionate about empowering young people to grow, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for an energetic, caring leader to join our YCAP team and guide middle school youth through engaging prevention programming at school or community sites.

Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and engaging groups of middle schoolers in fun, safe, and meaningful activities
  • Implementing curriculum, keeping attendance and records up to date, and supporting site staff
  • Setting up program spaces to be welcoming, safe, and youth-friendly
  • Building strong relationships with students, families, school partners, and community members
  • Ensuring participant safety while modeling YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
  • Pitching in for special projects, events, and family conferences as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Education: College degree preferred
  • Experience: At least 1 year in youth development preferred
